HELP SUPPORT OUR NOBLE CALLING
Kenya Diaper Bank Network is a network that collects and distributes diapers to needy families. The
network conducts diaper drives by identifying needy child caregivers and agencies and subsequently
distributes these respectively. The network will start in Nairobi through hospitals in the constituencies
as the partners and gradually into other counties.
It is hoped that at least 5 hospitals in the each selected constituency in Nairobi will benefit at least twice
annually depending on the needs established by each agency.
Volunteers can help/support by either making donations and/or distribution of donations made.
We’ll be glad for your candid assistance/support. DONATE
What We Do
Because 1 in 3 families don’t have access to an adequate supply of diapers? KDBN recognized this need, and has been working towards making the ratio even.
Become A Member
Recognition as a member of the Kenya Diaper Network (KDBN) holds more value than ever before for community-based diaper bank programs regionally.
Why It Matters
Without diapers, babies cannot participate in early childhood education.
Without childcare, parents cannot go to work. What we do, does matter.
However, the diaper gap affects not only infants and toddlers, but also seniors. As the aging population increase, incontinence health issues also increase. 1 in 3 seniors will suffer from incontinence at one point in their lives. Incontinent seniors spend anywhere from Kshs26500-$42000/month on incontinence supplies. Seniors living on a limited income do not have the economic resources to purchase an adequate supply of incontinence products to live normal healthy lives. Yet, traditional insurance health plans do not provide assistance with incontinence products.
